The 4th Clean Air Forum 2023 took place in Rotterdam on November 23–24, 2023. It gathered all key clean air stakeholders from across the European Union. EU Member State authorities participated at all relevant governance levels.

In Serbia, air quality remains poor. This has been the case for years. Pollution levels in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Valjevo, Niš, Pančevo, Kragujevac, Užice, Šabac, and other cities often reach dangerous levels.
Poor air quality creates unnecessary costs. It shortens life expectancy, increases healthcare expenses, and reduces productivity.
Air pollution also contributes to autoimmune diseases. It causes 9% of neonatal deaths.
How to Secure Clean Air in Living and Working Spaces
People spend an average of 93% of their lives indoors. Statistics show 87% of this time is spent inside buildings. Another 6% is spent on vehicles.
Indoor air is 3 to 5 times more polluted than outdoor air. This data comes from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
