Marquis Intelligence’s technical solution won first prize at the Brit List Awards 2022
Marquis Intelligence’s Technical Solution Awarded in London for The Beaumont Hotel. The hotel’s lead architects recognized their advanced air-purification concept for the luxury hotels. As a result, the project received a first prize at The Brit List Awards 2022 in the category The Best in Tech.
Award Presented to Reardon Smith Architects
The award was formally presented during a glamorous ceremony in London. The winner was Reardon Smith Architects, the architectural firm that adopted and implemented Marquis Intelligence’s technical solution. Consequently, the project was recognized as one of the most innovative tech-driven hospitality upgrades in the UK.
However, this achievement did not happen by chance. A clear vision enabled it. Alexander Marjanovic, Design Director at Reardon Smith Architects, understood the importance of indoor air quality in hotels. Therefore, he supported integrating high-grade air treatment into the hotel’s core systems.
Marquis Intelligence’s Technical Solution
Marquis Intelligence’s technical solution was developed specifically for The Beaumont. It included all required engineering calculations. It also included complete technical documentation. Step by step, the solution defined how clean, safe air would be delivered throughout the hotel.
After that, Marquis Commerce implemented it. Installation management, commissioning, and handover were performed remotely. The entire process was led online from Belgrade by the Marquis Intelligence technical team. This ensured precise control and consistent quality.

Applied Technology: DBD Bipolar Ionization
The awarded air treatment system for all areas of the Beaumont Hotel is based on dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) bipolar ionization. This technology is environmentally responsible. At the same time, it is energy-efficient. Therefore, it fits perfectly within modern sustainable hospitality standards.
By treating air through the hotel’s central ventilation systems, hygiene and air safety were raised to a higher level. As a result, both guest comfort and employee well-being improved noticeably. In the project, premium German equipment was used to support the system’s performance.
Remote Delivery: A First for This Type of Project
Significantly, this project marked a first. For the first time, installation, parameter tuning, and commissioning were completed remotely. The Marquis Intelligence technical team supervised every phase. Therefore, the hotel received a fully optimized system without delays or on-site barriers.
Key Benefits for The Beaumont Hotel
Guests and staff at The Beaumont Hotel, in the heart of London, now enjoy consistently clean, safe air throughout the building. Microbes were eliminated. Odors were neutralized. Airborne particles were reduced. Consequently, high indoor air quality became another signature advantage of this elegant hotel.
Next Step: 2 Providence Court Expansion
The same technology will also be applied to the hotel’s expansion at 2 Providence Court. The extension is currently under construction. Reardon Smith Architects again led the design. Therefore, the success achieved at The Beaumont is being scaled to a new phase of the project.
